Summer at Speak, Learn, and Play

Lego Social Club (Drop Ins)

  • For many neurodivergent kids, connection starts with shared interests — and LEGO is the perfect bridge.

This small, supportive social group uses collaborative building and guided play to help children practice social skills in a way that feels natural and fun — not forced.

Through structured activities and therapist-supported interaction, children build skills in:

    • Turn-taking and flexible thinking

    • Communication and problem-solving

    • Perspective-taking and reading social cues

    • Managing frustration and navigating small conflicts

    • Growing confidence in group settings

Because the focus is on building together, social interaction feels safer and more predictable. Kids can connect side-by-side before face-to-face — allowing friendships to develop at their own pace.

This is a warm, strengths-based space where children feel understood, supported, and gently encouraged to grow.

Roll With It! A D & D Camp

  • This summer, neurodivergent tweens and teens can build real social confidence through collaborative Dungeons & Dragons adventures — in a small, therapist-led group designed for safety, structure, and connection.

With just 6 participants, this immersive camp blends storytelling, teamwork, and guided support to help kids practice:

    • Social communication and perspective-taking

    • Flexible thinking and problem-solving

    • Managing frustration and unexpected outcomes

    • Executive functioning skills in a real-world setting

    • Confidence and belonging with like-minded peers

Each 5-hour day includes structured gameplay, movement breaks, snack and lunch time, and gentle reflection — all thoughtfully paced for neurodivergent nervous systems.

Led by a licensed clinician and supported by trained teen assistants, this is more than a camp. It’s a therapeutic enrichment experience where growth happens naturally through shared adventure.

Because sometimes the safest way to practice real-world skills…is by slaying a dragon together.

From Chaos to Calm

  • Many neurodivergent kids have big ideas, big feelings, and fast-moving brains—but the skills that help them slow down, organize their thinking, and follow through are still developing. From Chaos to Calm is a supportive small group for children ages 6–10 that strengthens key executive functioning skills, including impulse control, emotional regulation, flexible thinking, working memory, planning, organization, and task initiation.

Through games, hands-on activities, and guided practice, kids learn how to pause before reacting, manage frustration, stay organized, and approach challenges with greater confidence. The goal is to help children build practical tools for everyday success—at school, at home, and with peers.

    • Monday - Friday, 9am - 2pm

    • Ages 6-10

    • July 27-31 OR

    • August 10-14
